GHANDI
Have you ever found yourself wondering if you were the right person to make someone happy? This is often a human condition. We try to be who someone wants or needs us to be instead of being ourselves. This is my story of how I became invisible and how I chose to escape the shadows that I lived in for 54 years.
This is my story of my journey into invisibility, my 54 year sojourn there and my escape into the sunlight. This presentation has much more audience participation and time afterward for breakout session to discuss, "What are my shadows? Who is my tribe? Am I invisible?" etc. This presentation can be used as a keynote address.
This is a 20-45 minute talk on the process of climbing out of the shadows of our lives. This is the "Rest of the Story" I share what life has required from me in order to climb out of my deeply entrenched shadow rut that I created when I was 8. This talk available after April 30, 2022. This presentation can be used as a keynote address.
Many people encourage you to look to your future. Looking to the future causes us anxiety. My encouragement is to live each day shining as your true authentic self. We have only this moment to live. The past is gone and our future is not yet here. Choose your path out of the shadows and enjoy your journey.
I am a mother of 9 children and a grandmother of 8 grandchildren. This is one of my proudest accomplishments. I have left a legacy for this world in my children and grandchildren that I am very proud of. I have helped 17 other human beings become their best selves. I have a great desire to leave a legacy behind me that will outlive me and move into the next generations. I also am a firm believer in supporting and being an active part of my own community.
The desire of my heart is to lead anyone who reads my material or listens to my presentation to identify and step out of the shadows in their life. I spent 54 years in my shadows and had quite a rut going. By presenting my material I hope to reach the listener's heart, touch it and encourage them to make a change in their lives, preferably before they are 62. I love connecting with my audience, seeing the light bulb go on, and knowing that I made a difference in someone's life. I speak primarily to women, but can also speak to mixed groups as well.
I raised and homeschooled 9 children who are now all grown. I assisted my husband in multiple political campaigns and ran for school board myself in 2021. I am a John Maxwell University graduate, have multiple Toastmasters awards and will be a published author in early 2022. I have spoken to several women's groups throughout 2021, and been on a few podcasts. I am continuing this in 2022. I love working with women's groups in churches, small groups of women or even larger groups. Please contact me for more information.
